Website Updates

The Butterfly Emerges! πŸ›πŸ¦‹

Ta-da! πŸŽ‰ We’ve kept this under wraps for a while, and now the cocoon has hatched! Some Land Kit webpages got a new and improved web makeover, and we’re super excited to tell you about it. Land Kit has grown in tools and services since the beginning, and the updated site reflects that. We hope you enjoy the updated UI and UX as much as we do.

You may notice there are changes to these pages. Check them out:

Speaking of Campus, we’ve been making headway on making learning materials more accessible. We created colorful character personas that we like to call Land Kit-sonas, to help us understand our users. You’ll see more of these β€˜sonas as we continue to grow this area, and create resources that caters to our users’ specific needs. ✨

In addition to the updated Campus page, we also created a Components Reference Page for our users to easily access Land Kit documentation.

More info about that in the upcoming segment!

New: Components Reference Page πŸ€“β˜οΈ

Users of our Land Kit CAMPUS Dropbox Paper resource will be happy to hear this… We’ve transferred our Components Reference data onto our website! πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰ πŸŽ‰

  • πŸ” Easily search for and explore our Land Kit components on our website. Clicking on a component will bring up an article for that specific component.

  • πŸ“ Each page has its own tags on the bottom of the article, and you can filter out components based on tags by clicking on it.

  • πŸ“± Problem-solving on the go? These new resource pages are also very intuitive on mobile devices.

Please continue using CAMPUS Dropbox Paper as an additional resource, we’re still working on adding and moving more content over. Our goal is that Land Kit users will soon access all CAMPUS resources without having to leave the landkit.design domain.

A section of the Components Reference page. Looks familiar? The menus are based off of the components panel you would see in Grasshopper!

The Topo Components Panel as seen on Grasshopper.

We have a search bar for components πŸ”

Workflows for Land Kit πŸ”„

The Land Kit team has been hard at work developing user-friendly tools for those who have no scripting knowledge. With Workflows, you can use Land Kit without the learning curve. No need to know Grasshopper or Python languages!

Stay tuned for more updates.
