Add to Geo Set
Adds geometry to specific categories of a geo set for topo. ie contour curves, spots, etc
INPUTS
geo set : Existing geo set for topo. Will make a new one if nothing is input here.
contours : Contours as elevated curves. Open and disconnected, okay, poly-lines with super tiny segments, bad.
spots : Points representing spot elevations.
breaklines : 3D Curves. Similar results and rules as the contours.
other geo : Meshes or Breps that describe sculpted topo.
mendlines : Curves drawn between contours that will help reduce sawtooth meshing at steep grades. Use sparingly
boundaries : Curve boundary of the extent of area being created or modified.
OUTPUTS
<GT> : Geo Set with add geometries to create or modify a topo instance.
As an alternative to the Create Geo Set component, Add to Geo Set give you more customization of your layer naming and structure when using Topo Kit!
Generate and/or add additional geometry to your geo set directly into specific categories in Grasshopper. Or, use Geometry Pipeline components to live feed geometry from your own custom layers into your geo set to see immediate feedback from your geo set modifications. Plug this component into the Create Topo component in the same way you do with the Create Geo Set component and begin customizing workflows to fit your firm’s templates today!
